Not to be confused with the beautiful back-door route to Long Island, NY’s beautiful Jones Beach, this Meadowbrook Parkway began in singer/songwriter Joshua Canaan’s long island home in mid-2005. Born out of yet another broken relationship and the need to sing what could not be said, the sometimes-mellow/always personal style of music M.P. brings forth began to catch the interest of some local scenesters and the eye of the owner of Sovereign Throne Motion Pictures subsidiary S-Throne Recordings.

Roughly five thousand cups of coffee, 27 packs of acoustic guitar strings, 44 picks and two name changes later, Meadowbrook Parkway is about to sing what cannot be said…in the catchiest way possible.
